Does it seem that it is harder and harder to build relationships with other people?
Does it seem that we live in a culture of busyness? It seems to me like the overflow of technology has been a blessing and a curse. Recently, our state (Ohio) lost power because of the fallout from Hurricane Ike. How odd it was for people to have to actually engage one another instead of watching television or being on the internet.
Furthermore, of all people- the community of Messiah followers should have strong relationships with one another. But that still seems like something that is a struggle. Busyness, busyness, busyness! Maybe we should ask if it is possible to simplify our lives.
